Sht this one with the 10-22mm at 10mm, stuck right into the brambles, only inches from the nearest berries. Chaotic, I know, But I kind of like it. NO post processing here; the colors are natural.

Inedible berries. Not even berries, maybe. I don't know for sure what they are. They are everywhere around here. NOT cranberries, which are grown in bogs and are bigger. These are tiny, like a quarter of an inch diameter.

I don't think I would have realized it was such a wide angle shot if you hadn't mentioned it. It's a bit too unstructured for my personal tastes, though I have to admit the more I look at it the more it grows on me.

if they are growing on vines - they are a nuesance plant. called bittersweet i think. that plant tends to choke competing trees and plants as it tangles itself aroumd them. was a pretty common problem in connecticut.
the berries start out orange, and then the orange casing peels away to reveal a red berry...

I like it. The berries near the edges seem a little blurry, maybe it's just me. |
