Also, while there are no tasks to be "won" in the real world, there are goals to meet, contracts to be won, schedules to keep and customers to make happy. All of which are more important and more difficult then winning a task on a reality tv show.

Edit to add, there is more to it then just getting it done.

Well, with Alla, I think Trump summed it up pretty well. "There was no discounting that Alla was a good leader but she was not one that could be "led". She never wanted to be not in charge, and this can cause conflict. It was almost like she had OCD about being project manager in every task, rather than stepping back and letting management manage. She couldn't be managed and Trump needs balance and not bullies.

I can see why she would want to manage every task that she could--she wanted to be the Apprentice. I do not believe that she had a problem being led, most of the time. On the last task, sadly, the PM had some type of personality disorder and insecurity. She made Alla director, then she wanted to direct, because she was afraid that Alla would outshine her; then she wanted Alla to produce, yet she would not give her any freedom to do anything. If I were Alla I think I would have quit. A real manager in the real world is not afraid to delegate, because he/she is looking for results that would help the company/department/the manager himself. I think that Alla can be led, as long as the person who is leading her is not micromanaging and is not phsycotic.
