I'm finally done voting in the Holiday Catalog . I didn't enter this time. As a matter of a fact I haven't entered anything after my last butt spanking . I guess I need to toughen up some and try it again. |

Could someone give me feed back on this picture
I was going to enter in the Holiday Catalog?

Have you ever felt like you were getting the cold shoulder? |

Your likely not getting a quick response because there are 2 other threads already discussing this challenge.
BTW, I really like the shot you attached. |

I, for one, wouldn't dare critique you photo. Your average vote cast is 3.48, so obviously you don't think all that highly of the photos around here.
I assume I couldn't possibly be good enough to leave my comment. |

It's not so much a cold shoulder as people tend to prefer giving their time to the photos that are in the challenge, rather than the ones that aren't. You may have better luck posting after the challenge ends. |

In my opinion, Beetle, some people are trying too hard to be creative and it comes
off just the opposite. I find that to be a major turn off. I have no problem casting a vote
of 10 or 2 if I find it to be deserving.. I would expect that my pictures would be critique
accordingly as well.
Thanks for you sarcasm. I think your remarks were not helpful and very childish.

I think lighting and subject is strong. The one distraction I see is the wall hanging behind the girls head. This appears to be 'growing' from her, and does provide a bit of distraction when moving through the image. Other than that, it's a good shot.

Thanks Danny
The wall hanging is one of the reasons I didn't enter it. That bothers me too..
