OMG Sue... I am so relieved he is ok. I cant believe he is but, wow.. I am speechless.
I bet he is real sore too

Too be honest, after seeing the news footage of it, it's a miracle he didn't get more severe injuries or worse.

Wow, that guy is lucky to still be on the right side of the grass, as they say. The person who got the shot of him flying through the air got a great photo too. I cringe every time I see a photographer on the side of the field during an NFL game get clobbered (happens all the time), let alone this. Honestly, though, I cringe at the thought of the $10k lense they are holding getting damaged as much as I fear for the photographer themsleves. I know that sounds calloused, but I figure the sports photographers know what they risk when they step out on the field (just like the players do). But seeing those huge 600mm f/4 lenses get creamed--I have to divert my eyes... :o)
