I have noticed that there are thumbnails not showing up when I view this site - some are mine and others are even in the top 3 of the challenges on the main page. This has been going on (in my experience) for weeks.
Is anyone else having a problem with some thumbnails not showing up?
I have viewed the site with Mozilla Firefox and IE.

It's usually your settings in the firewall or other security software like Norton.

Are you using Norton?
If so, go to the adblocking section and set it to allow www.dpchallenge.com and enter / for the html string.

Also if you see this happening anywhere else it could be part of your internet options. To check click on tools at the top of your browser , then internet options, then click the advanced tab, then scroll down and make sure you have the box checked in front of show image download placeholders. Then click apply, place holders are also thumbnails for this has to be checked. Just a thought. |

Yes, I am using Norton (and we just upgraded - so that may have been when this started).
I tried to do what you suggested - but when I went into the area that listed websites - it let me add dpchallenge.com but it did not give me a way to change how it treated that site. And then if I clicked ok and went out of that screen and came back in dpchallenge.com was not listed again.
Anything else I can do? I am pretty sure it is only this site where it is happening.

The ad blocking portion of Norton Internet Security is one of the main culprits for other members here too. You can fix it without disabling ad blocking also.
To copy/paste John Setzler's reported fix on it: (not taking credit for his help he posted on this back in January)
1. Go to the ad blocking and choose the 'configure' option.
2. Press the 'advanced' button to configure ad blocking for individual websites.
3. Press the 'add site' button to add 'www.dpchallenge.com' to the sites list.
4. Select 'www.dpchallenge.com' from the list and then press the 'add' button.
5. In the html string window, enter "/" without the quotation marks and select the 'permit' radio button.
6. Press OK and work your way back to the top level. |

Thanks Brad and Jim, works better than my way of turning off ad blocking!

Step 4 is where I have a problem. When I hi-lite dpchallenge.com I don't have just an 'add' option. It doesn't let me do/manage anything about the sites on the list. And if I go out of there (by clicking ok) and come back in dpchallenge is no longer listed.

bumping in hopes someone has insight to Norton not cooperating.
edit: Oh, and not sure what happened but now I also am not seeing the links at the top for this site (drop down menu for my profile etc). But that is just a Firefox issue.
