Hello everyone. One of my good friends, Stanley Walker, wsnted me to do some shots of him and his special guest. These are just for local distribution, but its a nice favor for a wonderful gentleman. He has so many stories to tell of the old days in country music. He has actually played the Grand Ole Opry numerous times, and played with guys like Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Charlie Pride just to name a few. Now he lives in our small town and plays at festivals, street dances, and community centers. Its funny how life throws you curves.
This was my take on it, but here is the original. If ya have some extra time I would LOVE to see some others views on this cover. It is a gospel album, and this was his favorite shot(even though I really got some great ones of him). I do appreciate any and all attempts or input on my version. Thanks all! |

Bad night to ask! I forgot that everyone is getting their contest entries ready?

Is the faded symbol being used as a logo or just to break up the picture on that side?
Really, the only other option I see with that photo is to stack the title words on the grass to the left, and put the performers' names underneath; you can never go wrong giving God top billing : )
Nice work! |

Very nice! My only suggestion would be a little tighter crop, ala

| I think the original photo gives more a sense of "with special guest" -- in the second photo, it seems like she's more "part of the team." |

Stanley Walker? That's Karen's husband on Will & Grace :-)
Edit: not being able to see either of her hands in the first shot makes her look a little waramps-ish but I think it's still a good cover.

Left a comment on the first one, along with an edit.
I do like the skin tones better on yours, but then again you did have the high-res version... |

I prefer this one. But the text between thier faces is too close and cluttering the image. I would just make it another line of text above or below the song title.
The other one looks great as a thuumb, but Gold is right, the no hands thing is really creepy. |
