My first time doing this...so go easy. All of these were done in camera with only a little cropping on two of them. Otherwise, straight from the cam...

Let me know what you think/what I can improve on.

For me the strongest image is the last one. It contains a leading vertical line and enough contrast to provide visual interest.

I'd have to agree with cpanaioti. The last image is stunning. I find it calming, and a womb-like strength and comfort. The first 3 are not so great, but for me, it continually improves until the final shot. You've nailed it.

No...I did it with camera movement. I had a fake flower and held in front of a light so it was backlit, then I just panned the camera or twisted it. It's a lot of fun, you really get some interesting results.
