At a street market this morning, a boy was playing christmas carols on his violin and was quite good at it. He had a calm, assured demeanour and was going to make a really cute pic for my Candid portfolio folder.

As I was getting ready turning the camera on and setting the zoom, I saw what he was doing and had to shoot it right there and then before the camera was ready. There were three people walking towards blocking the shot and I knew he'd be finished by the time they'd passed.

If only the auto focus worked faster...

Now wouldn't that have been a classic!

I only got off one shot before I was sprung and he became self-concious

I couldn't see it in your thumbnail ... then I loaded the full image ... LOL!!!!

I thought it was a very dainty ladylike indiscretion, which is in complete contrast to my two boys. They are all action boylike deep finger hunters

Well I can see where this thread is going ... right down the toilet. And there was me thinking of a nice intellectual lost-photo-ops discussion.

Or sometimes click enough and get surprised
after getting the pictures on the computer...

such an interesting way of taking pictures ... just look for the person picking their nose and snap! ... LOL when kiwipix took his pic and showed me I was quite surprised that the autofocus was soo slow :)
