So a friend had some old camera stuff in his garage, can't remember where it came from or what it is. Amongst the stuff I find this and it has me very interested.

It says "Soligor Fish-Eye lens 0.15x" along the top.

Max aperture is f3.5 and it has a small screw in connector on the back about the size of a quarter, but that is an adaptor that comes off with three screws? Looking through it, it has a 180 degree field of view and I'd really like to be able to attach it to my camera and play with it!

Anyone know what it is?

Also in with the stuff is a very old light meter, an external flash that I'm guessing will no longer work, and a Makinon 28mm F2.8 lens (which I have no clue what it will fit). It looks about the same as the EF mount but it's a little smaller.

"Right. I reckon this is a fisheye converter for rangefinder lenses with a 39mm filter thread. See //www.trademe.co.nz/Photography/Film-cameras/Lenses/auction-13885116.htm
The reason it has no marked focal length is that it is designed to influence another lens by a factor of 0.15x. See the green engravings - 200 and 135....
Soligor have made some weird and wonderful lens converters over the years (some of them very good indeed)."

Google.com is a wonderful thing. Learn it, love it, use it.
