To tell you frankly, I was just fooling around with NI. I wanted to see and gauge the voters reaction to certain types of images. The pose was intended and though she had some blemishes I tried to see how far I can take it. We don't always meet "beautiful flawlessly skinned" models :)
I saw the Free Study as an experiment. I knew deep down that my score would suffer but that didn't matter. As I've mentioned in the image, all I wanted to achieve was a 5 just so my average doesn't dip too much.
For me, it's all about pushing the limits at times. Sure I could have gone for some good images that I had but opted not to. I think I now have a gauge of where DPC voters lie and I will use it for the upcoming challenges.
Haven't you heard of the Cinderella story?

Hey Rikki- can I brag without being a thread hijacker?
lookie what I did!!! LOL
I really dislike neatimage... in fact I didn't vote on your image beacuse I am so biased against it! That was all done with cloning (not even a heal brush!) a lot of work too, I might say. The problem is- neatimage takes away the subtle characteristics that people identify with. That said, I think it works great on things that really do have smooth textures- so keep playing!!! :0) |
