FYI, I was in Costco's yesterday, and they had the Olympus Evolt E500 Digital Camera with Olympus 14-45mm f/3.5-5.6 Zuiko EZ Zoom Lens & Olympus 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 Zuiko EZ Zoom Lens for $799, $40 cheaper than B&H.
What blew my mind was that they had every other camera on demo except for the E-500. I went to my car and brought my camera in to show the sales person who had told me that he had been wanting to get a look at one. A small crowd gathered round, with many people amazed at the size and quality of the LCD (its not that big a deal to me). Two of the kits were sold in the ten minutes I was there. |

Too many of their "dealers" aren't putting it on display, or even stocking it.
I had to hunt all over just to find one to hold, and got a chance to hold 300 too. I liked the feel of the 300 and went that way.
Both are very good cameras.
