I'd be interested in knowing different peoples techniques for converting images to 'eye popping' black & whites! I've been playing around with Photoshop lately but still can't get the right contrast! Would love to try a few different ideas! Thanks!

I use the channel mixer to convert to black and white and adjust for tones, then shadow/highlight and contrast/brightness to get the levels I am looking for.
