Both of these are wonderful images. JPR's was my favourite of the challenge, I think its such a good capture, and it works very well for the theme of the challenge.

Yeah, yeah! That one too! Gave it a 7. I'm such a follower in this thread! I gotta go look and see which ones I scored high that haven't been mentioned yet... I thought that picture was way spot-on!

This is NOT a rant but can somebody explain this picture to me?? The challenge was suppose to be without adults..just a little confused on my end..NOT A RANT..the picture is good...

I do think the title is an integral part of the picture in the challenges here. But even without the title, to me the girl looks like a kid, like a young girl trying to dress up and act like a grown-up, too fast, too soon, you see it all the time - for me, even if the title weren't there, it still would fit the challenge.

Yes it's a good image but she could easily pass as an adult. It got a 5 from me. Without JPR's explanation, the image is lost in the mix... unfortunately.

Felt it didn't meet the challenge with an "adult" in the picture, but as I commented during the voting stage, I still gave it a 7.

Ok so this got me wondering. My image seems technically sound but what's up with the 40+ scores of under 5? Anyone? Not looking for sugar coating here. Just a DPC pulse so I can gauge what the "clients" would like to see better ;)

I'd really like to know who gave it a two.

All good images get at least a few low scores. I wouldn't worry about it. It's just the way it is.

There's a serious technical "problem" with this image, for a lot of people; the shoulders of the bottle are completely lost in the background. I'm sure that's why it didn't score higher. As for the 2's, a working assumption would be that some people just don't like seeing drinking of alcohol as a rite of adulthood. It's as simple as that. I gave the image a 5, and it would have scored more from me if the bottle were better-lit.

It's like dog years. That's about an 8 in troll world. ;-)

If it was dog years, a two would be 14!. Now I know that the trolls are giving you a complement when they give you a one, because that is really a 7!

It shows up fine on my monitor. I guess the issue of calibration will never be resolved :( Anyway, it was never my intention for alcohol to be a "rite of adulthood". I just thought it was an indication of being 21.

Anyway, I think I will never fully gauge the voters. But that's what makes it fun right? :)
