Hi I'm just a beginner having fun with my camera. I'm not very familiar with the technical knowledge but I will study more about composition and photography. But for the meantime please take a look at my pictures and give criticisms or say what you honestly think because I'm not sure if they are good or what. Thanks. :)

I like the 2nd and the last one the best. You've got some really interesting colors here which go well with the abstract composition of these two photos. Definitely keep playing around! I have fun doing abstracts too--they're like happy little "mistakes" that always come out different every time. |

I did it by using the night mode of my camera. That is very encouraging. Thanks and I'm glad you liked it. :) |

Wow, how did you ever end up HERE? Those are wildly abstract, vivid pictures of a sort hardly anyone on this site does. In order to comment to them in a meaningful way I'll need to know what, if any, post-production tools you have/are using.
Meanwhile, check out nshapiro's portfolio; he's spent more time than anyone I'm aware of in DPC working on abstract, color-field images.

I love the Night Mode :-) A couple of Christmases (?) ago I spent about 2 hours with a friend taking long exposures of christmas tree lights. Jiggled the camera around in ALL kinds of crazy patterns and just had a blast! When I feel the urge to take some photos but don't have anything in particular in mind, it's one of my favorite things to do :-)
Like I said, definitely keep at it. I love those images that show beauty where so many others might overlook or miss it. |

No I didn't do any post-production tools. Those are just like snapshots of a fountain in front of the church here in Manila and the kid is blowing bubbles. It's the Raja Sulayman fountain. :)

I'm heading for bed now. I'll try to get back to you tomorrow. Meanwhile, you need to learn to link to these larger files. Try reading this tutorial and see if you can figure it out from that :-)
