Does anyone know if Canon makes a timer/remote controller, similar to the TC-80N3, that will work on a Canon 350XT?

Did you check their website? Google?

The RC1 works on the 300D, not sure about the 350D |

Not really. I was hoping they made something like my TC-80N3 controller. The RC-1 and RC-5 are basically just infrared remote switches. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two.

It would be the RC-05 for the XT. But I think Mick is wanting a little more than one button.....not for sure though.

It does work with the 350, but it doesn't have the neat timer settings that I was hoping for.

I downloaded the EOS system chart from Canon, and, according to it, the RC-1 and RC-5 will both work with the 350XT. Apparently there's no timer controller available for the 350XT though. :(

I wish they made something like that for the 20d |

Wow, that's interesting, and even cheaper than the RC-1. Still, it doesn't look like it has any timer functions though.

I have the RC-1 and it works with my 350XT. And it does have a two second timer function, although I'm not sure that I've used that function. There 's a little slide switch. You slide it to one position for instant shutter release, and slide it to the other position for a two second delay. |

There was a thread here not long ago about a timer to do everything type box. Light trigger, sound trigger delay setting and you get the cable with it that connects to your camera. It had one for the 350. I think a remote would be an option for it. |
