Well, I didn't think it was possible, but I'm scoring even lower this week (speed) than in last week's Country challenge (4.412).

I am in the middle of a move, and I'm very busy these days at work so I don't have an enormous amount of time to devote to my photography sessions, so my choices for photos are more limited than normal. I guess it shows. Also, I am without my DSL connection, so voting is difficult with my dial up access.

I'll come back to visit, but think I will take a break from submitting for a while, at least until my creative juices start flowing again.

sometimes a break is necessary when it comes to sharing yourself like we do here. Art is very personal, and it can take a lot out of you emotionally when you don't get the reaction you were looking for.

Take a break, unwind a little, and take care of business.

For the time being we'll miss your insightful comments; you make a lot of them, and it's seems you put actual thought into them. Thanks for that, and the site will miss you while you're gone.

Take care,

Pedro

I took a long, long (3 or 4 month) break last fall, and came back with a clear head. Have been submitting much better pictures since then (with one painful exception!)

The weekly deadline can get quite stressful!

I think I'll be taking a couple of challenges off too. Namely, the 2 that are on the docket right now. I might take a stab at the unanswered questions, but most likely will sit it out. A night on the town.... Wouldn't even know where to start with that one. I forced a couple pics into the last 2 open challenges and am still paying for it right now. I'm most likely going to wait for a more favorable topic to come about. There are other contests to be had. Most likely I'll devote the time there instead. So you won't be the only one mariomel.
Best of luck with the moving thing
