I think I posted awhile back that I ordered these:

...Well I got them both this week. I must say I LOVE portrait mode when I need it!

The LCD monitor is replacing a HUGE 19" 1600x1200 monitor that has been eating away at my eyesight for 4 years. This new one is 21" and 1680x1050, so I am not losing any noticable resolution.

The laptop appealed to me because I always wanted a tablet pc, but I didn't always want a tablet pc. ;-) So far I am very impressed with its usability and practicality.

Thought I would share and endorse both these products.

That's funny; way back when, this would be in the 80's I guess, I had a Radius Pivot monitor. It was state of the art at the time as far as sharpness, resolutiuon etc went, and it also swiveled like these. But they dropped out of favor. I didn't know they'd come back...

That's a neat laptop - how accurate is the stylus as an input device?

I'm jealous. Doubt santa will bring me anything close to these. I know you didn't get these because you were a good boy this year. We know how you act around here.

Congratulations on your new toys.

Very cool. Wish I could afford those. I did notice we have the same keyboard though. I love my "natural" keyboard.

I remember those well. Never had one, but tested CAD software on one in a previous career.

It works surprisingly well! You can convert handwriting to text with a click or two and it recognized everything I wrote perfectly without having to "train" it. That's handwriting - not just printing. It recognized my son's perfectly also and he is left handed. I'm very impressed with how well the tablet works. Haven't tried it with photoshop yet though.

Thanks all! ( 'cept for you, BrenB ;-P )
