Does anyone know if you can use Camera Raw 3.3 Beta with PS CS. Adobe states that its for PS CS2 & Elements 3.0, but doesn't mention PS CS. I can't afford to upgrade to CS2 till after the holidays, and can't shoot RAW files with my new Olympus E-500. Surley Adobe hasn't completely dropped support for CS already. |

Yes, they have :(
I bought Adobe CS just a few months before they came out with CS2 and the new converter and I was screwed right away (especially after upgrading to a Rebel XT, the old converter can't read CR2s at all). I am pretty pissed at them.
Not to mention their stupid copy protection scheme, which crashes every few days on me, telling me to reinstall. Usually, it's sufficient to restart the system. But recently--without any hardware changes--it told me my system had changed and I would have to re-authenticate my copy.
Two reasons I am less likely to buy an upgrade besides the money!

Dowload the latest version of the DNG converter and convert your E-500 RAW files to DNG. Then you'll be able to work on them with photoshop CS wich support DNG format.
