after I open an image in RAW, and edit it then go to save it as a jpg (save for web) and well.. it lightens the image up and changes things, how do I fix that? |

does it appear lighter while still in CS or when you view it somewhere else like explorer? If it looks lighter outside of CS then you may have to check you monitor settings in CS. Don't quote me on this but I had the same problem with the gamma settings in Paint Shop pro. I can't think of what else would do it.

Your working color space is probably not set to sRGB. When you go to save for web, you are stripping off the embedded profile (the web is not color managed). The resultant file is thus displayed in the wrong color space.
Try converting the image to the sRGB space prior to saving for web, that should yield the correct results.

Instead of using Save for Web, use Save As and select JPEG. Save for Web isn't the best way to save a file.
Also, make sure your color management setting in Photo are set for sRGB.

I haven't used that function much but did notice this arrow on the top right side that changes how it appears when previewing it, hope that helps.
