This may not be an issue for some of you. I guess it depends on your voting habits. I view the images before voting using the forward arrows next to the '10' to get to the next image. However, when viewing I sometimes vote if something really strikes me. So, for example, I have viewed 10 photos and on the 11th I vote. The problem is, after that one vote, I get the 10 images I just passed by before I get a new one.
It would be nice if you weren't given an image to view a second time (unless you select it) until you have viewed all the images at least once when reviewing using this method.
Certainly takes the 'random' aspect out of it. |

You can avoid this by "seeding" the images as you go into a 4-group and a 5-group, say... That's what I do.

I do not understand what your reply means. You are saying that to avoid this I should vote on them? The whole point is I don't want to vote on them yet. I want to view them. But if i do vote on one, I don't want all the images I just passed by to come up again until I have viewed ALL the images. The first time through I only vote on the ones that stand out and smack me upside the head.

......my experience - in order not to get repeats, is not to vote untill you have completed viewing. |

What I'm saying is that one way to approach the voting is to "sort" images by first impressions; "ho hum" shots go in the 4 slot and "worth looking at" in the 5 slot. I find I can do this very rapidly as I scroll through the images, and the system accomodates the occasional "high out of the gates" score like you are wont to give. Once you've run through all the images (there will be no repeaters) they are sorted into two large groups for you and you can view thumbnails in those groups and pick which ones you wish to study further.
I find this is a good compromise for the problem you have outlined. I used to do what you do, but I was also frustrated by the "repeats" if I voted an image early.
