I have a question about this machine i have, I got it in Japan and the voltage here is 100V AC but I will take it to UK where the voltage is 240V AC, now, on the box it says 100V and not 100-240V but i just downloaded the manual for the newer version and it says 100-240V in the manual.. I cannot find the manual for mine online and the manual that came with mine is in japanese and not so easy to find out about technical things.

Anyone have any idea if this iMAC G5 is duel voltage or will I need an adapter.

Thank you for any help

What does it say on the machine itself near where the cord plugs in to the power supply?

Is this a laptop? If so, look at the power transformer and see what it says for input voltage. If it does not indicate something that includes 240V 50Hz, you might have to buy a new transformer.

The first generation G5 iMac only had the 100-120v power supply. The rest have the 100-240v. If/When your power supply blows, they will replace it with the 100-240v version.
