I stumbled across a REALLY cool feature of the new opera browser(8.5), and just had to share. By pressing Ctrl and using the mouse wheel you can zoom a whole webpage, yes including photos!! (When you do this with other browsers that use non fixed font sizes etc some scale ok, but the images and tables remain fixed)

I think this is excellent from a usability point of view (and a web design POV), since there are so many people using different screen sizes n resolutions .....this makes designing for all much easier (no hacky if((browser equals blah) and(resolution equals blah )) junk!!!)

Weeeeeeee.

Now all I need to do is get someone to write a zoom feature for Firefox! :D

PS
If you have any other gems for browsing pages with photos on, please feel free to share. :)

Look what I just found... :)

//imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/

Appears to work very well in Firefox. Hold down right-mouse button, and mouse wheel zooms in and out.
