		| | I almost submitted this image for 'Best Friends', but I chose not to because photos of children usually do not score well here. I went with something entirely different for my entry, but I was wondering what you would have scored this image?
What I like the most about it is the girls are of three different ethnic backgrounds. I wish everyone in the world could be this happy with each other, regardless of their differences!

		| | I think it would have to score well just on the quality of the picture. You have done a great job capturing the moment, focus is really good, lighting is good. If you had entered this photo, i think anyone who crucified you because of your choice of subject would want to have a better reason apart from "Don't like pics with kids in them!"
On looking at just this shot, i would probably give it a 7 on its own merits.

 Nice photo :)

		| | It's hard to fault the quality of this pic, but I would have been looking for a noun in the photo starting with the letter B - so you would have lost a few points from me there. (If you had of called it Best Buddies then maybe I might have marked you up higher :) The only thing I find distracting is the poor young lass in the middle who looks as though her eye is getting a good squashing from the girl on her left.
Would have given at a 5 or 6 - depending on what type of mood I was in :)

 Thanks for everyone's input...
As for the middle girl's (Nicole) face getting a little squished, it makes it real life to me, rather than set up. It's not a perfect portrait, but I like my images to reflect real life! I let the kids do what they do and I try to capture it as it happens, instead of coaching them.

		| | I decided that my opinion of the B challenge was going to be wide open - if you can even remotely make a case for a B connection, then fine, it fits. So, I think this is an excelent shot - good technical qualities, and also very emotional (they really look happy to be together - squished eyes and all!). I would have given it an 8 (if I were a member and could have voted). |
