I would arm yourself with some garlic, a wooden stake and a cross, if I was you!!

Yep.
666 is actually the "sign of man" and not the demonic symbol that you were likely alluding to. However, if one were to categorize "man" as the evil creature he can be, then the concern would seem justified.
