I'd like to see a new stat in our profiles that would show how well you have done in a small number of your most recent challenges entered, say maybe the last half dozen or so. By comparing this to your overall, all time Avg Votes Received you could see if your entries are improving and by how much. I may be wrong but my feeling is that this would provide encouragement to the relatively new photographers. And it would be a challenge to the oldtimers, the photographers who have already reached a certain level of success, to keep the most recent avg moving upwards.

Last 10 challenges entered makes sense to me.

Don't forget, there's also a possible discouragement factor, either for old-timers or "lucky" newbies, who see that number inching (plummeting?) downwards.

Ten works for me.

You mean something like this Coolhar? It would be easy for them to put in a numeric form.

I like this idea. I'm not a numbers cruncher by any means, but I do kind of look at this myself in a vague, just looking kind of way. It would be nice to actually see the figures. Good idea :-)

Your right. Also I don't understand why they do show 'votes received' in your profile under challenges. They have comments rec., fav's., etc. It would make it easier.

If you have excel I can make a template for you with the formulas and all you have to do is enter your numbers.

Falc- are you basing your spreadsheet on 'percentile'? It's hard to read in a small picture. I'm sure its nice on the spreadsheet.

Yes just based on percentile - thats the important figure for me.

Rikki I have sent you your personal template. All you have to do is the following:
1. Enter the challenge
2. Enter your score in the challenge.
3. Enter the votes received in the challenge.

The formulas will update themselves.
Hope you enjoy. Feel free to contact me if you have any question.
