here is a link inviting you to enter the BBC quick-snap, British winter photography competition - send them your best photograph taken between:
Taken between 6 a.m Friday 25th November and 6 a.m Monday 28th November , one that captures the feel of the season and place.
They'll display the best pictures in their website photo-gallery next week and announce a winner on Friday 2nd December

Only one of the 33 images submitted thus far would likely score a 5 in DPC. This one's wide open, people!

| If we get any snow in The Lake District before Monday I will give it a go, but so far we have just had rain |
