Now that we have the Threads Started / Threads Killed stats in our profiles, what is your ratio of threads that you've killed versus threads that you've started? I've killed 76 and started 42, so my kill ratio is 1.8. How are you doing?

Yes but General's 1300 kills is stratospheric.

But General has been here almost 4 years! bear_music has been here not even one year.

And I thought I was bad with 76/35=2.375

Maybe I can kill this one?

Mine says 0/0. I know that's not true...
11/23/2005 06:36:32 PM · #16
87/30=2.9

I don't tend to start many threads and I like to jump in and help people post those tricky first-time thumbnails.
That, and I have often left people speechless in "real-life" too....though that's changing, especially as I learn that I don't really want to have the last zinger word.
=)

19 started 18 killed = 1.05 Not a bad ratio I say :) I must go back and kill the one I missed :-))

Another way to consider this is # posts / kills.

So, for me, 1800 posts/87 kills = 20.7 (rounded).
Which means that for every 20 or so responses only 1 results in a dead thread. :-)

council members should be able to be part of this.
they can lock threads...

Let's see. Started 13, ended 71. Does that really mean a 5.46 record? Wonder what's going to happen to this thread now.

Threads Created: 9

Threads Killed: 59

6.55, probably this.

OK I have been looking over the post about "posted/killed" could someone explain what the criteria is on this. I am at 0-0.

1. When do they consider the thread killed? Time?

2. What happens if a month, six months, or a year later someone post to the thread that has been declared killed? Does it take you down by one?

3. What about the people asking a question and you answer it? are you punished with a kill?

4. If the person that posted the question replies with a thank you? are they rewarded with a kill?

I'm not complaining but just wondering what kind of stat is this? it is so random and has no informational input, or am I wrong?
