I'd like to thank everyone for the awesome comments i got on my camo entry, anamorph
I have been dying all week to share a non basic editting version with the masses, so withoout further ado -
As those of you who have looked at my profile will have noticed - i have stupid amounts of curly hair, which try as i might just wont stay out of the way. Those little stands have been bugging me all week.
As has the "roar" of the grease paint as Jammur so elegantly put it. I'm not to sure about those of you here that wanted me to paint my face with other materials than those designed for the skin. Idnics already tried to walk me off a cliff, does DPC really have a price on my head?!??!
Just for kicks, here is a picture of me painting on my stripes, using the camera screen as a mirror.
7th place is a nice place to be for a shoot taken 30 minutes before the dealine. Cheers to all.

oh yeh i should also say my lighting suckdbecause i was too damn lazy to walk across the house and get something to bounce the trustly 500w worklight off. My SO laughs at me when i paint my face.
He has been laughing a lot this week.... |

I continue to go against the grain here but, to me, there is nothing at all ugly about it. The entry has the short curlies and reflections off the grease paint that you find as negatives. The re-edited version loses too much of the difference between the face and bg, the face looks flat. Somewhere in between might have appealed to me more. But your shot, and it's finish, are something to be proud of. Congrats on winning another victory in your struggle "TO CONTINUE TO THINK OUT OF THE BOX AND MAKE DPC-ERS LIKE IT!!" WTG mes.

Hahah, i didn't think it was that ugly either (it being my face, i should hope not) that was one of the comments i recieved.
I had a whole week to fuss over an editted version, and it because more and more stripes and less and less face every day. I think i should probably give it a week or two and do another edit.
This one i cheated, because i have seen this sort of thing done before, and Dario G's Sunchyme video clip is one of my al time favourites... |

Thaty's not cheating. That's called deriving inspiration from another artist's work. And I like curly hair.
