| hi, i'm new here but i'm good friends with andrea (smartypants). I dont have a very high quality camera but i love taking pics. |

Hello Amy! All you need here is passion. Many excellent (and occasionally ribbon-winning) photos have been taken with less than professional equipment. Some, like me, have at times thought that a better camera would make us better photographers, only to find out that it just doesn't work that way :P

Hey! i know you'll love it!! i started on this site with a zCentrios DSC-2020... about as low as you can go... even like 5 years ago, lol. You'll find that every thing you read, look at or get comments on will teach you something! have a great time!
