When i take photos soemtime i listen to music. Sometimes the music i listen to is reflected in the style of photography, and the types of pictures that i take. For instance if im listening to classic rock i tend to spend more time thinking about my photos and end up with better photographs and less variety in my pics. If im listening to heavy metal i tend to gravitate towards a more darker photography.
I have spoken to some of the students at my school and i've gotten mixed answers on whether they noticed this in their photography. Does anyone find themselves gravitating toeards one type of photography due to the typr of music they listen to... or am i just weird??

Hmmm....I think that to be a photog, you have to be a bit weird to start with. ;) I've never noticed this before, mostly because I don't think I've ever had music on when I shoot. A lot of the time I do nature photography and don't have an mp3 player to carry with me, and my CD player is often too big. But this is interesting to ponder, I'll have to give it a try and see what happens. I love classic rock, and if it helps you, maybe it will do the same for me!

I can't say that i've had much music going on while photographing except in two situations.
1. photographing musicians
2. cycling races where there is always music playing in the backround.
Can't really draw any conclusions from that.
