Sarah
More coming soon - I just had to share this one now.
Ya do something long enough, you begin to figure it out. I have found a way to edit in PS that lets me save 'shadowed face' shots like this one...still best to get them right the first time though.
SO now I can go back over Loren's pics and fix them up better...oh joy, hours more on teh computer ;(

Chris this is very nice and what a pretty model. I really like how her hair is blowing. A couple of things I think would make it even a bit better would be to soften the shadow some under her right cheek (right cheek when looking at the photo) and lighten the eyes alittle. She will be thrilled with this one and I can't wait to see some more. |

Very nice. Has she seen them yet?
One nitpik, while you're in there doing some PP - on her sweater, backside near her shoulderblade, looks like a piece of dark lint/fuzz there. Might want to do a quick clone for cleanup. Told you it was a nitpik. ;^)

Thanks for the wonderful comments! My ego is restored (the triptych challenge bruised it a bit LOL)
Here are some more. These are just proofs - anything she wants printed i will be going back over more carefully. As it is I have 200 shots whittled to 125 keepers, and many of those are just slightly different...so I am not going full bore at it right now.
She'll see them tonite I suppose, that is one reason for loading up my profile them. I'll be doing a MyPublisher book for proofs.
It is interesting how her appearance, as in ethnicity, can change from pic to pic. If i could only 'control' that look somehow.
And yeah, if she doesn't like these, there is no hope for her! I've worked with her for 2 years so this was fun. All the pics were taken at a haid salon! - her mom works there. i want to rent their back yard out for my portraits!
Here are some more:
Two of my favorites:

Very impressive array of settings! I wish HER luck on trying to whittle the selection down. ;^)
Sure is a change from the way senior photo's were taken when I graduated - take your pick, backdrop A, B, or C.

Those are great Chris. You got a nice variety that is sure to be pleasing to her. It is amazing how much different she looks in the different poses. Congratulations on a great shoot. |
