so, i can't view the full content of websites.....
yahoo and ebay, for example.
i've narrowed it down to a problem with Norton Firewall Ad-Blocking.
What can i do? Ahh!

| You can set Norton to allow those sites...in the preferences try adding ebay.com or yahoo.com. |

geez! i got it to work but i think for every site i visit, i'm going to have to enter it into norton to "permit" it.
more work than protection...arrgh.
thank you for the tip though it worked! :)

| Hrm, that doesn't seem right though. Do you have it set on super super security or something? I don't have Norton Firewall so I can't check but maybe you've got it set up too tightly? |

Try downloading Adblock, or AdBlock+ (both free).... then turn off the Norton adblock, they're better programs for sure.

| If you use firefox, get the extensions "adblock" and "flashblock" and turn off norton's add blocking. |
