i'll type something like "newspaper ad" or "night" in the search box and this is what I get...

"Unknown error type in line 116: [2] assert() [function.assert]: Assertion failed
Unknown error type in line 329: [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/dpc/www.dpchallenge.com/include/funcs_error.php:53)"

where'm i posta go when i get there?
11/16/2005 09:27:19 PM · #4
It searches DPC, not my site. So type in your search term and click find and it will search DPC.
11/16/2005 09:31:42 PM · #5
it gives me that error message every time... do you just type one word? or the whole thing of what you're looking for?
11/16/2005 09:35:25 PM · #6
Let me backup.

The link I posted is a totally different search engine hosted on my own website and has nothing to do with the DPC search that almost never works.

If you click the link
//www.pictureinfinity.com/search.html
You have a white box and a find button. Enter any term you want "newspaper ad" or "news" into it and press find. It will show you a list of results from the DPC site.

Hope that helps!

I'm not getting that error.

Is anyone else having the problem?

Unknown error type in line 708: [2] implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments.
Unknown error type in line 714: [2] Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
Unknown error type in line 720: [2] Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
Unknown error type in line 329: [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/dpc/www.dpchallenge.com/include/funcs_error.php:53)

IE 6, WinXP.

Strange. Langdon and I both tried this in both Firefox and IE. Neither of us can duplicate the problem. I tried it logged in as myself and logged out. Langdon tried it as himself and as a member.

What were you searching for?

happens to me all the time too - my only guess is i'm on dial-up...?

i would like to be able to search for threads of questions i have instead of opening a new one - happens every time, so i just open a new one. ?

Terry,

If you search a common word, like photo, it borks. If you search for a username, it never does. I think it maybe a "too many found" thing.
11/16/2005 10:18:25 PM · #18
I just duplicated it in Firefox searching for photo.
11/16/2005 10:19:14 PM · #19

11/16/2005 10:19:50 PM · #20
A web browser like Internet Explorer.

I got: "Your search for 'photo' returned no results.. " Langdon says "photo" is a flagged word because it appears too often.

Are you searching from the front page, or somewhere else?
