I'm talking with a guy over on Fred Miranda about possibly buying his camera. I've seen where some people have gotten stuff over there but I would like to get a general consensus from my DPC'ers. He asked if I was okay with echeck...I've only used Paypal...so not sure about that.

Any information is helpful!!! :)

Thanks Guys!

Pay by Paypal only.

There's a user feedback thread on the FM forums. I'd check there and see if there's any mention of him. Is he a regular user there or did he just pop in to sell?

a user feedback forum? I'll try to find it....here's the website of the camera:

PS: He said the echeck was thru Paypal...but only charges $5 instead of $30 and there's a 3 day waiting period.

I personally don't know anything about echeck but I've bought a bunch of stuff from users on Fredmiranda.com - I love that site!

Here's the deal...Go here and do a search for feedback:

//www.fredmiranda.com/forum/search

Search Phrase: [put the person's username here]
Search In: [Message Body]
Search where: [Buy & Sell]

Then click on any of the ones that come up in the "Feedback" thread.

I believe what he means is that instead sourcing the funds through a credit card, PayPal will remove the funds from your checking account, kind of like a debit card. That's the only way I use PayPal, and he's right, it is cheaper for the seller by a good bit. The only downside is that the transaction is in a pending status for 3 or 4 days until the "echeck" clears.

So now I need to get my digital rebel stuff together (box, cd, etc) to sell!
