The results of the Landscapes II and Garbage II challenges have given us 4 new first time ribbon winners, and the other two earned their second ribbon. Congratulations to alithenake, Structor, Transit and abhishekbiswas for popping their cherries, and to DrAchoo and CeeDeez for proving their first one was not a fluke. I love to see the ribbons getting spread around like this.
Nice variety of cameras used too. alithenake earned the new Nikon D70s it's first award here at dpc while DrAchoo used the plain old D70; Canon had 3 different models among the winners as abhishekbiswas brought home a first ribbon for the Canon S2 IS, Transit used his 20D, and DrAchoo used the oh so popular 300D. Icelander Structor shot with a Konica-Minolta 7D to earn it's third ribbon.

Yes I agree I love seeing new blood gives me the opportunity to explore what they have in their portfolio and previous challenge images.

With the promotion of merheim into third place we have a new user who has ribboned in their first challenge entered. Welcome to dpc christian, and Congrats on a great image.
Sheesh... there went my lock on the Tamron 200-500 page.
