Pixmantec, makers of RAW Shooter Essentials and Premium, has introduced a Color Engine software that includes color profiles for common DSLR's.
Anyone know what this would do for me, or you?

I believe the software does not include already produced color profiles but allows the photographer to produce a color profile for their camera to their liking for use with Raw Shooter Essentials Premium version. This way the software knows what out of the camera RGB values represent which color values. |

I posted this late last night so thought I would give anyone else who cares a chance to comment. |

I'm not going to say what I think on another web-site (cause it would need to move to the rant section) but to say the reaction was mixed would be fair.
The add-on profile/s give you an alternative for processing the RAW file. These additional profiles may or may not improve the photo and is somewhat subjective. |
