I have only been experimenting so far. Trying out a few things I have wanted to do. I have looked over the images posted for the lense. I am wondering, what do you, as an owner, think about the lense? What do you as a potential owner, feel about the lense and adding it to your arsenal?

I think it's an exceptionally nice lens, sharp as a tack, relatively fast glass at 2.8, nice and compact and light (as compared to the 100mm macro), and better than satisfactory in every way.

Do you find it takes dark pictures if on P mode? no flash, cloudy day, outside perhaps...

Do you find you use it manual or auto focus mainly?
