I have a art gallery coming up in December. I have been taking photos tHAT i THINK are good for display. The question is that when I finish editing my photo on PS, do I need to do anything besides save to JPEG and put it on a data cd for printing? Do I need to do anything to make my photos come out great? |

I've heard that you don't want to use too much sharpening on the pics if you're going to print them. Example: when you're posting a pic here, you sharpen it so that it looks good over the internet and on the computer screen. When you're printing, you don't have those things diffusing the sharpness....so if you sharpen a lot it will look odd when printed.
I've printed a couple of my pics from files that were sharpened and they look slightly too sharp...so just consider the photo :-) |

You may want to make a back up for any unforeseen event and keep that away from the computer you work on.
