I have to agree that the high contrast approach doesn't make the image look plastic.
Maybe time for me to download NI. How much is NI anyway? |

The last of the Aeon installments.
Not only was this a study in NI but also overlay modes with textures. I've really crossed the digital art threshold ;) |

I like the first ones better...
This one, I think, would look better if the process didn't include the eyes.
But I don't care about the "honesty" of a photograph, I only care if it says what I want it to say. And I LIKE digital art.

I love the first one the best. I personally like the over-processed over-the-top effect. I don't think it'd be the same if it was just a "normal" portrait. |
