At this point, the site council is viewing dq's like we always do. The only rule that was "relaxed" was being able to use more than one image. Major elements moved or created will still result in dq.

Something is apparently wrong with voting. I've noticed that my score had improved by 0.1 point in the past 4 hours.
I'm sure it will even out and drop back to 5.1 eventually.

Still not a lot of comments but quality has made up for quantity. John is fractionally ahead of me but has 18 comments! They all have been very helpful and detailed.
I would love to just get to 6.0 on this one but I fear that may be too much of a stretch.

Don't forget that the challenge says to "tell a story" OR "ILLUSTRATE A CONCEPT". Don't look too narrowly at the "must tell a story" thing as if every triptych has to tell a 1, 2, 3 story! The artistic talent of enhancing your photo by creating this special effect can very well illustrate a concept without a successive story being told -- and it very well fits what the challenge asks for. My single image picture was in my opinion made better by the artistic effect of a triptych, and it conveys the conept I was going for much better than if I'd thrown the picture out there as a whole.
But I don't normally say much because I'm used to every challenge having people who seem very anal and determined to vote pictures down for ridiculous reasons. And it is their right, disappointing as it is.
