I love mine. I expect 6.5+ but it is not happening yet.

The standard for this challenge is very high... I suspect that a score of 5+ will not guarantee a top-half finish.

Pleased to say hanging in there around 5.7!

After two really rubbish entries recently just for the sake of updating, I took a week off and then really worked on my entry. Considering the very high standard in this challenge, I would be pleased to get anyting over 5.

Hope the trend continues!

My first challenge and i must admit i never imagined i would actually feel this anxious. it's bizarre. i don't think i've ever felt anxious about the way people would receive an image of mine before. I suppose the fact that they don't rate it particularly highly doesn't help :))

All the comments say pretty much the same thing. I guess I need to get back in the box...but hey, my excuse is I don't know what I;'m doing, and it doesn't matter, I like it!

Tony, don't feel bad about your score. It's your first challenge. For my first challenge, I had fairly high expectations for my shot, and ended up in the 4.9 range, and felt quite anxious about it the whole week! Same thing for my second. But I learned a lot by the comments for those two shots, and I've come to feel that the comments are way more important than the score. They are what's really going to help you to improve your photography - not a numerical value placed on it.

Having said that, if only I could stop clicking that darn "Update" button!

I found it odd how my borders looked at 3000x2000 compared to the way the appeared at 640. My hands got so tied with that aspect, going back and forth and back again, that when I finally got it straight(or close enough), I wanted to re-crop the entire thing (each pane). And then came the regular PP juggle. Killin, me...

Good score Bob, I would feel elated. I am slowly sinking, but it is still early. I am hoping to pull a 5+ out of this challenge. It was quite enjoyable working with 3 photos...

I also had fun with it. I'm going to keep that in mind as I watch the voters smack me around... lol.

Oh dear. They may need to define an entirely new category of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder around that [Update] button.

For my first challenge, honestly, I'm happy. I didn't expect raves for the image I entered. It means a lot to me, but I don't expect it to have as much of an emotional punch to others. I had fun taking the pictures, fun arranging the pictures, and fun entering it in the challenge. And I'm at a point in my photography where "fun" is key... so I'm satisfied.
