Trying a new technique. I focus on a spot on the ground. As the bug walks through it, I snap. Worked ok for this guy and a spider. Now if I can get a butterfly to land in the spot, I'd have a great picture!

You're really getting the hang of macro Ken, it's been a pleasure watching you learn here and posting your results.
I usually just set a high f/ and hope for the best with bug shots. :o)

I am a biology graduate of some years ago and have fun combining bio and photography! I love getting in the weeds with the bugs...even if it is just 1 in 45 shots that pay off!
