I ran across a few great articles that I thought might interest some.
There is a good discussion of the nature of how RAW files are captured and a three part discussion on the advantages of RAW processing.
There is also a VERY detailed (you have been warned ok) discussion of sharpening and several techniques that can be used. I am only part way through this but it's great so far! ** Warning, This is not a complete series **
There are some other misc articles stuff that might also be of interest.
Edit: Fix syntax, since I apparantly cannot construct a sentence.

Definitely interesting. There is a LOT of information in there to digest (the sharpening articles).

Wanted to bump this :-)
I have finished the completed sharpening articles and they are really good IMO. It explained a lot of issues that were unclear in my mind and explained stuff I didn't know I was missing (along with stuff I am not sure I wanted to know). |
