I just upgraded to PSP X and it has a high pass sharpen function built in. I believe this is also in newer versions of PS, and available as a plugin.

Just curious, how much of this people generally use. In PSP there are two parameters, radius and strength. Also, there is a blending mode...choices are hard light, soft light, and overlay.
