I need a good calendar for my 'website' that is easy to keep updated. I don't know anything about these, so am asking for input..

Go to //www.sourceforge.net. It's a large repository of open source, free software. Search for calender, I'm sure you will come up with something that will run on your site. BTW, for most calender programs to work, you're going to have to be able to run PHP, ASP or some similar language. If you can't, you might look into using Yahoo's Calender.
