I've been submitting stock photography to different stock houses for some time now, and today decided to add IStock to my group. Must say, it was a very pleasant, even funny experience.
I uploaded my 3 files to be reviewed for membership at 12:10p today, at 12:19 I got an email that said ~"we really like #1 and #2, but not #3, upload another". Since I was here when the email came in, I immediately deleted #3 and uploaded another. At 12:33p I got another email that said "this is really nice but so similar to #2, can you show us something different?" Again I immediately deleted #3 and uploaded another. At 12:47 got a very personal email from the reviewer saying "....that was fun, welcome to IStock, your pictures are great and thanks for sharing...." followed by some nice words of encouragement and some handy tips.
I'm sharing this story because that was BY FAR the fastest and most pleasant experience I have had to date getting approval for submission to a stock house.
Anyone else have a fun experience with IStock, or other stock houses?
