Just wanted to say thank you for the 1st place in the "Busy" challenge.
I was in Ottawa for the entire week of the challenge but didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted because of yukky weather. I flew home on Tuesday with just enough time to unpack and look through my photos to decide which one I was going to enter. I had shot this church a couple of years ago but didn't have my Rebel then. The architecture is more amazing in person.
As I stated in my comments, I couldn't use a tripod so I used ISO 1600. Some of you asked about the lens, I just used the kit lens (18-55mm) that came with the Rebel. (sorry I cannot update my photo comments, I'm not a paid member - yet)
I am stunned that I won 1st place. I haven't been participating at this site for very long and I really didn't expect to win a ribbon this quickly (if ever!).
