I've been wanting to get into studio pictures for a while now. But I've been confused on what the best lighting equipment would be. Does anybody on DP use Photoflex equipment for portrait shots? Here is a tutorial that came to my email inbox...the results look great, but I wonder if that is a result of the equipment or just a skilled photographer:

I want to get a decent setup...something that I can start using right away for a variety of studio shots. Thanks!
