I think definitions (DQ'd, etc.) and directions (go here to find this, this is how you search, this is the way we post a pic, post a pic, post a pic..) etc. might be helpful.
I know it would have helped me...I don't like spending hours online searching for a thread so as not to repeat a question and then posting a new topic and waiting and waiting for replies.

Some ideas:
1.How to navigate your way through DPC
2.How to achieve the right size in PP in order to submit a pic. in a challenge
3.What is the yellow flag next to a challenge name for?
4.Hints for taking pics at night/avoiding reflections/blow-out issues
5.How to set your browser to auto-refresh when during forum sessions
6.Does getting DQ'd mean i get ice cream?!

I've got more... don't wanna bore the crap out of whoever's reading this.

Please note, all of my questions have been answered, so I don't need a response to this thread. Just a li'l suggestion for the website. Ooh, we could call it NewbieCentral - teehee!

There are many such issues answered in the tutorial section, under the word 'Learn' on the menu bar across the top of the home page :-)
Although, yes, you're right some questions are not, but...you (or anyone can) could write up a simple tutorial and submit it to go in the tutorial section covering any questions you can think of that are'nt already in there :-)

hehe, you're welcome :-)
seriously though, that is a good idea, a simple write up covering the basic basics could be put together and anyone can submit a tutorial.

Especially this one on how to use the site : )

Most of the info should still be current -- if not, there's a feedback thread for each tutorial where you can point out errors or needed updates.

How about putting a direct link to that tutorial under the "help" menu with a title of "site map"? Should be a relatively easy and quick change to make that would help a lot of newcomers find their way around DPC.
