DPC Public Service Announcement

Why do people enter small photos in challenges? You may not think it matters but it does!! You will get lower votes because we cannot see the details in the picture. Does anyone else feel this way?

I agree. I usually vote anything that is too small with a very low score and comment why. I have a feeling that those entering things too small are new and have only entered one or two challenges.

I hate having to reduce an 8 megapixel photo down to under 640 px for the widest side. I wish we could go to at least 800 pix.

If you recognize yourself in this thread, there is help! This tutorial should be required reading...wait, I think I said that earlier today about another tutorial... heck, read them all!

maybe future will increase size of image to 800 ^_^

i enetered a small one once, but i was new to DPC. it wasnt because i didnt know not to, it was because i didnt notice how small it was compared to the others. But I KNOW now! whats sad, is that it wasnt even my lowest scored! Damn that Rebel :)
